Rostering
Rostering is managed via a nightly automatic import between Skyward and CLI Engage. It is implemented prior to the start of a testing wave: BOY, MOY, and EOY. The rostering is based on the roster data in Skyward for PK sections (Circle). Any roster changes in Skyward that will need to be reflected in CLI Engage during a testing wave will be managed during the nightly automated syncing between CLI Engage and Skyward. Please expect 24 to 48 hours for changes to be reflected in CLI Engage.
User Access
Automatic Rostering will:
- create new students
- update existing students
- create a user account and grant access to a new teacher (primary teacher/teacher of record)
- deactivate a user account for a teacher who is not assigned to a section and course for the following courses: PK101-AM, PK101-PM, and PK102.
For district users needing access, please submit information to Director of Foundational Literacy or a request to the IT Applications team with approval from the Director of Foundational Literacy. The Director of Foundational Literacy or the IT Applications team will provide this information to CLI Engage to create a user account and grant access. Only CLI Engage support can grant or remove accounts community district users/specialists accounts.
For regional and school users needing access, please submit a request to the IT Applications team with approval from the Early Literacy Director.
CLI Engage has several different user roles. A user can only have one role associated with their school account. If there is a teacher who needs to serve as a School Specialist, make sure they do not have any assigned rosters in Skyward, or else there will be roster issues.
